Why Southern Spain

You will probably have heard it all before, 325 days sunshine a year, beautiful beaches, world class golf etc etc... In truth if you are visiting this site you probably know a great deal about what the Costa del Sol has to offer already. Then again it doesn't hurt to remind ourselves once in a while and maybe open our eyes to some things we either didn't know or had forgotten.

The Andalucian region has benefited greatly from Spain's European Union subsidies. This has created vastly improved infrastructure in road, rail and air. Málaga Airport is currently undergoing huge expansion, which will result in it being one of the most widely connected gateways in Europe. Add to this the international airports of Jerez, Seville and Gibraltar, and you are within a short journey of several major airports to fly to and from, with a large network of low cost airlines allowing extremely cost effective and year round access to the region.

The regional economy has evolved from a seasonal tourist based income to a year round self supporting business and tourism centre, to rival any in Europe. The opportunities for ex-patriates are wide ranging and in abundance.

The choice of English Curriculum private schools is healthy and expanding all the time to meet growing demand. With an excellent choice of hospitals and medical centres, Southern Spain is in a class of its own when it comes to health care.
